Left 4 Dead 2's "The Passing" Releasing Next Week
Although
Left 4 Dead 2's "The Passing" DLC
missed its original late-March release, it looks like it didn't miss it by much. On the official L4D2 blog, Valve has
announced the downloadable expansion will be releasing sometime next week.
The Passing -- which will run you 560 Microsoft Points, or $7 -- will add a new chapter to the Left 4 Dead story, with the main hook being a crossover between the survivors in the original game and the survivors in the sequel (and for a little more detail on this crossover, check out the spoiler-ish info here). The Passing also adds some new weapons and infected to the mix as well, including "specialty weapons" like an M60 heavy machine gun. Although Valve didn't give a specific date for when it'll be released, they did say they'd have more details on the L4D2 blog next week.
